Welcome to b³: Blocks, Bytes & Bits
Who: My name is Nathaniel Congelliere. Those of you who know me, know that I geek out on anything revolving around technology.
My family got a computer for Christmas when I was 9 years old. I will never forget having to learn all of the different DOS prompts just to use it. Once we received a modem for it and hearing the sound after connecting a 14.4 Kbps dial up modem — I was hooked and spent most of my free time on the internet. Since then I have spent countless hours, days, months and years researching, learning and applying that knowledge into everything I have done over the course of my life.
Whether it was learning to build websites, gaming and figuring out where all the hearts were in The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time or researching the best way to purchase a rare Nokia phone that no else had in High School — I would devote my time to figuring it out and doing it. As I have grown and matured over the years, I have always appreciated the bigger picture of where technology and the internet was taking us. Fast forward to today, as I create and write this newsletter: I am most excited about the time we are in right now and the ensuing Web 3.0 era.
What: So b³ — tell me more: At I write this I am very intrigued by what Blockchains are doing to disrupt many facets of our society. The Bytes or code behind them and their smart contracts are equally fascinating. The Bits are what I am collecting and will be presenting arguments for why you should too. This newsletter will delve deeper into all three of these concepts on a consistent and regular basis.
Why: This newsletter and the contents within it will be an accumulation of the time I spend learning and researching new topics. I will be aggregating the best information, resources and opinions and present it in an easy to digest fashion. The end goal is to be a resource for my friends, family and anyone else who wants to be better informed on all things technology, Web 3.0, block chains, crypto, investing, finance and anything else that may fall within or just outside these topics. What is web 3.0, thats the second time you’ve brought it up?
This will be a space where I can share each new concept or technology that I am researching and or using on a regular basis. The goal of this newsletter is to present to you new information and opportunities for you to learn about and capitalize on.
